SCOTT LAFEBER — Director
Scott LaFeber has directed professionally across the country as well as seventeen productions for Emerson Stage. His acting credits include Broadway, London, television and voice-over work. Scott is an Associate Professor at Emerson teaching in the BFA musical theatre program. As always, for Syl… wishes are children.

JONATHAN GOLDBERG — Music Director
Jonathan Goldberg, a Boston-area music director, vocal coach, arranger, and accompanist, has been teaching in Emerson’s Musical Theatre program since 2004. Emerson Stage credits include Sweet Charity; Chantecler, a Musical Fable; Amour; Bat Boy; The Spitfire Grill; Into The Woods; Next To Normal; Urinetown; and Titanic. Boston regional productions include Annie, SpongeBob, Little Women, and Billy Elliot (Wheelock Family Theatre) and 20 years of shows with the Lyric Stage Company. He has played in the orchestras for local productions of Parade and Phantom Of The Opera (Weston Drama Workshop), Little Shop Of Horrors (Greater Boston Stage), …Spelling Bee (Emerson Stage) and The Prom (Speakeasy). Jon has won IRNE awards for his Lyric Stage productions of A Little Night Music, Man of La Mancha, Grey Gardens, and Kiss Me, Kate. Other credits: Pacific Overtures (North Shore Music Theatre), Forever Plaid (Stuart Street Playhouse), and three years with the Boston company of Nunsense.

RYAN BATES — Scenic Designer, Props Lead
Ryan Bates is the Props Director for Emerson Stage, and has worked as a props lead and scenic designer throughout New England, including productions at Merrimack Repertory Theatre, Wheelock Family Theatre, New Repertory Theatre, Bridge Repertory Theatre, The Umbrella, Gloucester Stage Company, InMotion Theatre, Longwood Players, Off the Grid, Fresh Ink, and many more. In addition to his work in the prop shop, Ryan mentors scenic design students on Emerson Stage productions, teaches Props Construction at Emerson and taught Production Design for four years at Boston University. INDIRA S. PENSADO (she/her) — Vocal Coach
Indira Pensado is a performing artist who, for over 20 years, has taught voice for stage based on Roy Hart (2001) and Linklater (DLT 2012). She has performed and taught voice across Mexico and in Stockholm (Sweden), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Singapore, Costa Rica and in the USA. As an actress, she has worked with Alicia Martínez, Boris Schoemann, Jeffrey Mosseau (Ancram Opera House, NY) among others. Founder of Médula Teatro, scene and research. She was awarded FONCA grants of Creadores Escénicos, twice in 2008 and 2016. She is currently a PA full time Assistant Professor at Emerson College.
