Maureen Shea’s Past…
Maureen Shea is directing The Actor and The Actor’s Nightmare for Emerson Stage. They go up November 4-7 in the Greene Theater. Now some of you may be thinking “oh my, two plays at once!” But then you haven’t met Maureen. Last season she oversaw Coming of Age, an evening of three plays by women playwrights. Two seasons ago she directed Much Ado About Nothing, set in the mid 1960’s. Both of these productions involved casts well in the double digits, intricate production elements and lots of thoughtful energy.
